Youth

We have youth teams in Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie for boys and girls.

Children of all nationalities from 5 years old are very welcome to come along and discover the joy of GAA.

Get in touch with youthofficer.brussels.europe@gaa.ie or with secretary.brussels.europe@gaa.ie if your child is interested in getting involved in Gaelic Football, Hurling or Camogie.

Youth Training

Juvenile Training takes place at ADEPS Centre in Auderghem during the playing season (September – June).

We encourage any child who is interested to simply come along to a session — try it out, have fun and make new friends!

All children must wear gumshields at all times during Football training, as per GAA/LGFA rules.

For Camogie/Hurling, hurls and helmets can be lent out on the day, and can also be purchased through the club.

About Brussels Youths

Brussels Youths were previously recognised as a standalone club (EC Gaelic Club Brussels) before amalgamating with Brussels Craobh Rua in 2026.

Brussels Youths was originally founded in the early 1980s by Liam Breslin. The club began as a senior club, but over the years began to specialise in training for young players iving in and around Brussels.

In 2022 Brussels Youths became active in Camogie and Hurling.

Over the years, our teams have represented Brussels at Féile Peile na nÓg and have played in France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Spain.

In May 2022, our Under-15s won the first-ever U15 European Féile title in Vannes, Brittany. The success continued in Vigo, Galicia in May 2024, where our Under-15s won for a second time, qualifying as Europe’s representatives for the John West GAA Féile Peile na nÓg in Mayo, Ireland in June 2024.

In 2025, our Under-15s had the amazing opportunity to team up with players from Den Haag for an exhibition match on the hallowed turf of Croke Park.
